| My recent computer and camera upgrade led to need of spare memory card and apropos card reader. Cheap Chips representative was actually interested enough to inquire if I had cross checked chosen card's compatibility with my camera. I had, but I can imagine some might not persist researching a superseded model on a complex website, or just not start! Industry knowledge helps us all. Who needs the likes of impersonal Amazon when Cheap Chips' processing and delivery times are as fast as AP will allow? | |

Didn't think Australia post was that fast? I live in the Lockyer Valley and normally it takes much longer than that so they must have gotten my order out immediately when placed, and with some of, if not the best pricing for my 128G SD SERIES 2 cards. | I have used Cheap Chips a few times, finding the prices very competitive. This time however, I found the products I ordered didn't suit my needs and so I asked for help. After exhausting technical support from the manufacturer, Clayton offered me a full refund. I then found some alternative products but had a few questions, which were answered promptly, and an exchange was agreed without fuss. I was happy to forgo the small price difference in my favour, but Clayton nevertheless issued a refund. | I regularly find myself in the need for biggest and fastest memory cards. I always shop around to find the best price but it looks like I always get back to Cheap Chips. On a stingy day I ordered the super cheapest Sandisk Extreme Pro I could find on the internet (ebay or something). When it arrived from HK, even if it looked ok, I just couldn't help thinking 'it must be fake' and I was so scare using it on a shoot that it just ended up being a waste of money as I just couldn't trust it. 20/1/2016 Less than 5 months ago I needed a high performance chip for my GH4 as I film in 4K. As I needed it quickly I sourced it locally at a well known camera shop here in WA. The damage for a Lexar 32GB Pro 1000X SDHC card was $150.00 - I won't be making that mistake again. I can now get a 64GB chip with x2 the capacity and better read/write speeds with a saving of $67.00 . I don't often do reviews as I really don't have the time / hours in the day because I'm busy filming. I also got a phone call from the guys at Cheap Chips to make sure that my card had arrived (AU post letting the side down again) - I can honestly say, that doesn't happen very often and No I didn't get paid to write this review. I did it because I give credit where credit is due. I will buy all my cards from Cheap Chips from now on as it just makes sense to do so. Ian (WA)
